The Beaver Family

What a wonderful day sail we had last week(2/19/08) on the Random Wind, Our day began with an excellent full breakfast at Ric's, a quick zodiac ride to the boat and We were off. Plentiful wind and a great crew provided our children 5,7 their first real sailing experience. And they loved it!

We anchored in the protected waters of Baie Rouge for a great lunch,swimming/snorkeling followed by some fine upwind tacks by the skipper,We then stopped just off Mullet Bay beach for some swimming, drinks and hor'derves.

final impressions:

My kids are still talking about all the fish they saw! We had a great family day that they will remember their whole life! The Owners, Diane and Dean were gracious and welcoming.

The Crew was extremely accomodating digging out vests,childrens dive masks and noodles for our kids. and providing a hearty lunch. If you want to do some "REAL SAILING", pass on the 65' power cats and book on the Random Wind.

Marten has the best running charter business on island and this year we went out with his crew Hellen and Lex. They
were absolutely great and fun and we caught this beautiful fish..(what was it again Lex?)
Anyhow it was tons of fun, great sailing and beautiful snorkel stops. We'll back next year!!

What a WONDERFUL trip aboard Random Wind!!!!!!!!!! Our private charter was the highlight of our trip this year. Your wife (I guess I will never be able to pronounce her name) and Lex made a great crew (with all kind of stories and tales of the sea). The food was great, the accommodations excellent, and even the weather cooperated!

That was Mike and Sandy’s first time aboard a sailboat, and they just loved it. I just can not say enough about our experience on Random Wind, other than it was money well spent!!!

Hopefully, we’ll be back again next year (maybe sail to Anguilla , we heard that there is some wonderful snorkeling sites there).

Hope all is well. We really miss the islands, great water - and the Random Winds hospitality.

We were on a sail on 15 June and just wanted to send some pictures. The family had a great day. We also enjoyed Rick's Place. Ended up back there several times.

We are planning a return trip in 06 and to bring some friends with us. Hope to see you then.

Our recent trip on the Random Wind was geat! The food was good, the crew a lot of fun, and the destinations for snorkeling were awesome. We recommended it to all the other travellers we met.
